I have Comcast and I have downloaded hundreds of GB of data in a month and never had a problem. I know some providers in backwater areas such as Australia have 20GB limits but what provider in the USA limits your data to 20GB, unless you are trying to play through a cellular or satellite connection?MagicManICT wrote:jwhitehorn wrote:Its small.... It would be the wasteland of corporate America with providers such as Time Warner and Comcast. Unless someone is streaming a lot of video or torrents, 20GB data can be hard to hit in a month. Funny thing is a typical download from Netflix is something like 2-3 GB, and the idea behind this cap was to eliminate piracy via torrents. Most people I know that sub to Netflix easily burn up that 20GB a month.
Didn't realize the initial download was only about 50MB, but there is additional content that is loaded actively in the background while playing. My data usage isn't any more than when playing other MMOs, though. I haven't actively monitored it, but since there isn't a ton of log data such as from combat in a raid, it may well be less.

I burn it up easily even without movies.

I suggest emigrating.
