How big can a personal claim be?

In other words, what is the maximum square meters (m2) that a personal claim can be?

the biggest I made so far is 16.000m2

I vaguely recall a rule on width/height relation on player claims limited to a factor 5. Could have been haven too, though.

You're correct with the aspect ratio on a personal claim. The dimensions have to remain under 5:1. It was done here first and loftar implemented it into Haven with the W7 reset.

Quite honestly, I would guess the only real limit to how large a claim can be is how long it will be before you run into another claim. If there is an internal limiter, it's not one I've heard of anyone running into on Haven, and so can only assume the same is true here. Given it costs silver to expand, I'm not sure anyone has been interested in testing this.

Seeing as there aren't many artificial limiters in Salem it's safe to assume it can be as big as you can make it.
Another fine example is, that you can increase your humours and proficiencies as much as you can manage or that you can have over 100 active characters on your account (probably much more).

Oooh, someone please test this! Only need 2 billion silver for that. That claim should roughly cover the whole world. (imrielle's map shows around 25kmx20km=500 Mm²)
