Does picking up an item on a claimed area, for instance a chest and carrying it off the area and looting it leave the same scents as looting the chest on the claim? If not what's the difference?

Pickup chest > 1 debuff
Take Chest off claim > 1 debuff

Total 2 debuff.

Open chest > 1 debuff
Loot inside > X debuff ( x = total items looted)

Total 1+x debuff just for looking

Easier to just steal the whole container after you seen inside if its worth stealing

Thanks. What about as far as scents, larceny leaves summonable scents, what about taking something off claim?

Taking something off a claim IS larceny.
