am not sur eif people have noticed but i tested out 9 dif rods
i out of all my rods only high lead found copper actually it was a 1% lead rod that used and the mine was like firve feet away from my claim i was really shocked lol

After much searching I found a copper node quite a ways from my farm. I used 6% dousing rod high in lead at 41.78. The copper ore from this mine is 13% pure, also high in lead at 41.52%. It appears to me that your dousing rods will only find a mineral node of similar alchemy . Has any one done any research to confirm this? Or is it possible that all minerals in my area are just high in lead?

ifound a cooper mine with 1% lead rod ore was 4% but i only anted to make buttons

The dousing rod only finds a node of similar chemical composition. Yes, it's always been that way.
