i tried to destroy a gate earlier but it got stuck at 3%. what happened? do i need higher humours?

we're going to need a little bit more information: what kind of wall was it? What is your phlegm humour ?
Basically, damage you do is based on the remaining amount of phlegm you have. As long as the damage you deal is above the soak value, you will damage the structure.
For example, a stone fence has a soak value of 15, and so can't be damaged when your remaining phlegm is below 22.5.

oh that explains it then, my phlegm had gone below that and it was a stone wall. thankyou!
