Is there anyway to keep the game menu panel thingy from reverting back to the main menu after you click on something like one of the recipes in Crafting? It's annoying having to go back into the thing all the time because I am trying to see what I can make of what takes what , or just plain click on the wrong thing.

Nope. it resets to top after something is selected. The devs refer to it as the "Starcraft menu" due to the same style and functionality. The idea is to be able to access the options via hotkeys instead of clicking. When doing that, in theory, it's easier if the menu resets back to default after selection or if you "escape" from all previous selections.

Learning the hotkeys is probably the best thing you can do, but I agree it's annoying at times. Should be an option to turn it off.
