Is the HS name teleporting works?

It's the second time I make a new character and try to reach a friend using his HS name. Is this working?
When I speak with wilderness guide I write the HS name and press enter, but it sends me in a random place. Am I doing something wrong?
How do I delete a character?

Your friend must have a claim as homestead. Then write his hs, press enter and use the second option.

As said previously your friend needs to have the skill to create a claim and have 150 silver.
I think we can't delete a character, this one as to be killed by another player and he will disapear.

Ok, I did it finally. Thank you Manneke04. The point is that I should chose "use complementary guidance" (the second option).
You absolutely need to do something to help new player entering this game. I understand it's a BETA, but at the moment I think 1 new player over 100 keep playing for more than 1 day and I really understand why. The game is very charming, but it's really not inuitive and against newbie.
