so I did all that is needed to be done.. got survival skill with my new char.. know the homested secret.. writing the homested secret.. BUT.. when I click the damn button I keeps saying that he isn't settled.. anyone know why or how to fix that ?

You need the claim stone thingy to be able to get people to port to you.

we got a townbell.. that don't work ?

Never had one, so I dont know.

Need claim stone set as homestead. There are no town teleports.

Can also use a leanto

For the "travel to friend" option, no, only a personal claim homestead works. The lean-to homestead only allows the owning person to travel.

Your friend will need to plant his claimstone and then right click it + set as homestead before anyone can port to the p claim.
Your leanto will appear randomly wherever there is space on the claim. The claim owner is able to bash your leanto without leaving scents on his/her own claim. Also, there's a timer after you spawn on their hs that their person claim stone can be broken by anyone who has the waste skill
