tree chopping +10 gives just choping trees down or making block's from fallen trees to?!

AFAIK It just boosts how many percent points progress you do per hit when chopping a tree, nothing else

a decent set of these boosts can easily halve the cutting time of a tree. Definitely worth it if you plan on deforesting a medium-to-large area

im using my alt when im choping trees im bringing them to base with alt and time pases so its useless to me...

I made a thread about this in Bugs etc. and was ignored.
Basically all the tree chopping gear is useless as it does not affect board making or cutting logs.
If you are chopping trees it should never be a primary activity when you are paying attention. I recommend making a 2nd account with a designated tree chopper or at least an alt tree chopper. Cut trees when you are semi-afk alt tabbed doing non Salem related things or better yet, do town work on one account and tree chopping on another. With max tree chopping gear, brooches and buckskins I reduced trees to 1 minute 30 seconds or so from 3 minutes base. With the farming nerf you will never need mass trees again though so 3 minutes semi-afk chopping is fine and if you are killed/ko'd you don't lose the civilian set you would be wearing in the first place.
