I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I apologize that I don't know the exact time but it's relatively short and still ticks away when you're offline. The mushed cure for it is also relatively simple and easy to make. =)

Hi, noob here.

I wasn't sure what was more polite to do in this situation of the new update and not duplicating threads so please forgive me if this is considered hi jacking rather than preventing spam about the new update.

I can't seem to figure out how to prevent shroom poisoning. I read that I need a pot. Do they mean gardening pot? If not, what pot are they referring to? I attempting to filter using advanced google commands, but no luck.

Also, just ate a Witch Hat and now I might as well log off the game for awhile as it is severely crippling and it looks like it takes awhile to recover from those. What do you do as a noob when you are surrounded by forest and shrooms are plentiful but other food sources are not? Stay out of the forest? Also, what if I cannot make and therefore use pots? I found an abandoned settlement and the gardening pots do nothing when I right click on them.

This new update seems to make mushrooms in the forest not usable for noobs. A fireplace is easy enough to build and I can easily make the tender to start a fire, but I just really don't understand this pot and boiling procedure. Also, I do not appear to have this antidote in my ability to make food. So I can't even cure myself it seems. :(

The pot that's meant is a copper pot, which can either be crafted or bought from a wilderness guide in Boston. Once you have it, select it and right click on a fire to hang the pot over it. Put your mushrooms into the pot to boil them.

Ah THANK you ... I totally was confused by this as the wiki doesn't seem to mention a copper pot and usually I use site: to make sure google pulls all the wiki info and nada other than pottery and gardening pots.

Also, didn't know I could buy from the wilderness guide. I had only been interfacing with the white and blue tents before in Boston. :)

Edit: I just tried to buy the Copper Pot. I appreciate the help, but this was definitely not a noob friendly patch. I have to save up 150 silver worth of savage charms so it looks like it'll be awhile before I can safely eat shrooms. :( )

How do you tell a boiled Witch's Hat from a non-boiled Witch's Hat? There seems to be no visual OR textual difference between the two. :(

I just want to say how amazing I think this game is now that I have to boil shrooms before I eat them!! I mean before it was SO MUCH FUN to go around eating mushrooms just so I could play the game. Thank you Devs for adding to the what I think is the funnest part of the game. Now I get to WALK around instead of wander around which is way better because then I get a chance to enjoy the scenery ya know.... I have some more ideas that sound really FUN to add.

- Every player should have to wait 9 months from sign up to where there player can get into the game. So its like you were cooking in the whoom! get it?
- There should also be a penalty for walking! I mean we all know the walking is treachously slow but wouldn't it be better if we had a CRAWL function?!? YESAAAAAA
- Tinder drills and torches are wayyyyyy too easy. When I log on and have to spend the first 15 minutes getting a fire going that is not nearly enough time. I say do away with all that easy stuff and make us start fires like the ancient Indians. It should take at least on hour to start a fire.
- And last one, lets have random rocks fall from the sky and randomly kill players. That sounds like fun TOO right?

Anyways I'm so glad this game is about FUN and not about STUPID ***** RIDICULOUS **** like boiling the only food source that is available to people before you eat it over a fire that you have to spend time prepping and maintaining!! ... oh waiiiiiit..
