ok so I am a newish player (was a HnH player for a while)

basically my question is thus.
I have built a claim and have been working away building up stats and what not, yet it has come to my attention that my location is terrible.
I would like to move to a new place and have started saving to buy a knew write of homesteading so i can build a new claim.
Am i right in thinking i can do the follow or will i run into trouble

the plan:

save silver
buy write
declaim current plot
get guide to send me somewhere random (does this still work if i dont have a homestead)
once happy with a spot, build a new claim and set homestead secret
my friends then declaim/remove their homesteads
then they give my HS to the guide and get teled to me?

will this work or will we have to pay the guide or not be able to use the guide services since we have once already?

i really dont wanna have to walk

If you've used the guide once, you can't use him again. You'll need to walk. Same goes for anyone else you are sharing a claim with.

but if you invite someone into your party or kin I think they can click your icon and walk in your direction.
