Wondering why is there a discrepancy between the purity of the branch taken from a tree and the fresh boards cut from that tree when felled...

Is the impure sawbuck affecting it? :o

UPDATE: I am a stupid ass and made a stupid mistake please see post below for clarification...

I used a 28.13 (merc) log, cut 5 woodblocks and build a new sawbuck. When i placed that log i used before on the new sawbuck, the fresh board got the same 28.13 merc as the log before.

Aye I confirmed this too - looks like there is no nail purity that affects it

What? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK NO!

Like it isn't bad enough already that we have to keep rebuilding 4 colours of compost bins, and rebaking four colours of pots.
So now we have to build and destroy and replace 4 colours of sawbuck too?

FUUUUUUUUUUCK NO!

:!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

ARGH - Guys please disregard this post and accept my sincere apologies!

I realize today I made a stupid error...

My trees are all bunched up together in a line, and right before I chopped that tree down I collected the branch I posted and then I chopped it down and put it in the sawbuck and starting sawing boards when I saw the discrepancy between the boards and the branch that I originally used.

Well, turns out I ***** up when I collected the branch, I must have clicked on the tree next to it, because this morning I am chopping up that tree and it has the exact properties in its board as that branch I collected last night using a normal purity sawbuck!!

Gadamnit... *facepalm*
