Salem doesn't run anymore on MAC OSX

Hey guys,

since yesterday Salem doesn't run on my computer (Mac OSX). At first the client didn't want to start, although I've installed it new. Then I tried to install a new version of java. Since then the client does start, but the game does not make any reaction on mouse clicks after I have logged in. =(
I hope someone can solve my problem.

Issues with Macs have been quite a problem in the recent past. I don't mess with the system, but there have been complaints logged in Bugs & Technicalities. I don't recall if there were any solutions posted.

I had the same issue so i use enders client. If most games say screw you when you try to use a mac, go in for bootcamp. I love using bootcamp for my games. they see a girl in pink in a cafe sipping her mocha at her little mac and they look so confused when they see I'm beheading bandits. the macs are like oh no, oh woe is me I don't want to run a video game without overheating and melting! You just have to be all ***** please. and make it work.

Sometimes you may have to run the following in the terminal.

sudo /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Delete :JavaWebComponentVersionMinimum" /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources/XProtect.meta.plist

I have to whenever Firefox decides to sneak-update Java without my consent. Sometimes it's Adobe's fault too.
Not sure if this will solve your issue though.
