So yesterday I grinded out iron non stop to afford all the oiled boards and glass to make a complete alchemy set.
Today I log in to play around with my new toys and start popping some 0% salt humus into the cooker and randomizer.
After a few minutes the cooker tells me the items are "a bit unstable" and "somewhat unstable" I leave them in there until they increase a ridiculously small amount..something like 0.1%, then I switch them from the cooker to the device that decreases purity and increases stability.
I also then swap the humus from the randomizer to the cooker and plan on rinse repeating this process hoping to get some type of gain.
I go foraging for an hour or so and come back and hear "pop" "bang".
Both the cooker and purity decreaser exploded on me.
The entire day before was a waste as I have now lost half of what I worked for.
I'm mildly upset about the loss and more upset that the items that made the destruction were "a bit" and "somewhat" unstable, and I'd really love to know how the alchemy item that decreases purity and increases stability went pop..
All in all I gather that using this stuff is for people with tons of money and free time to constantly check it's progress each time something raises 0.1% and do this for the rest of their life until they get a whopping 1% increase in purity.
Any advice, or help concerning this tragedy is welcome.
All I wanted to do was get a few pieces of 1% humus to plop in some gardening pots and it seems that's not even possible, even my worms which have been feeding nonstop on 5% pure food haven't increased in purity beyond a few decimal places.
Totally lost on what almighty Loftar expects noobs like me to do with this stuff. Everything starts at 0-10% purity and raising any of it seems impossible with any of the methods available.
