Guys wasn't threre I way to teleport far from Boston ? So I can have a good place to settle...
When I talk to the guys that say "Hey want me to take you to the wilderness?" they always show up the trade window and nothing else.

I don't think the wilderness guide will work again if you destroy your homestead. I'm pretty sure you'll just be stuck in Boston.

Anyway, the answer is: walk. In Salem you're going to end up doing a lot of walking. Just have fun as you go. Pick up and craft inspirationals and food and work on those skills.

Just checked and you're right.
I'm sure i had used this way before though.
So, how will you be able to join someone else's homestead by hs?
Walk? Over cliffs and for hours and hours with a 5 biles char?
The wilderness guide should just let you port again if you don't have a homestead imho.

You walk, either by yourself in the direction of your friend's claim, or follow them to it.
You won't have a 5 bile character for long of you collect anything edible and glutton on it while you are exploring.

so if it's still a 5 bile character why not create a new one?

I tried destroying the homstead with an old character but it didnt work. Guess I'll have to walk.
