what does describe do?

so I ran into someone that was actually nice, gave them a nick name and then I saw I could forget or describe. I clicked describe, a percentage went from 0 to like 25 and stuff. But I didn't get his real name or a picture or anything. can you get a pic / real name of someone without adding them as kin? I don't want to add random people as kin, doesn't that let them go to/on my claim?

It does not allow people on claim. Only if you make "white colour" the one that allows trespassing, vandalism etc.

If you say have Sam on you kin list and your friend wants to watch out for Sam (or know a friend or whatever) you can describe Sam to your friend so he will see Sam on his kin list as well. That way if Sam visits, your friend will know it is him too.
