Fun with Colliquative Pressure Cookers.

Played with the new pressure cooker item, here's what I've learned so far.
To use: Place cooker in stove, right click it and 2 inventory slots open up and items can be placed in it.
Which items? Most items. The items I tried that would not go in were seeds and buckets of water.
Here's the data on what I ran through my 4 cookers:
First batch (2 cookers: 18.55,31.06,26.48,23.91) in stove for roughly 3 and a half hours.
before: dross: 55.54,4.21,13.01,27.23 and fresh board 25,25,25,25
after: dross: 55.54,3.48,10.75,30.23 and fresh board 25,25,25,25
before: ore: 55.54,4.21,13.01,27.23 and spruce cutting 25,25,25,25
after: ore: destroyed and spruce cutting: 25,25,25,25
Second batch (added 30 minutes later, nearly identical cookers) in stove for roughly 3 hours
before: dross: 29.62,57.02,6.50,6.86 and worm: 25,25,25,25
after: dross: 31.61,57.02,5.53,5.84 and worm: 25,25,25,25
before: raw beaver cut: 17.08,45.64,22.34,14.95 and ear of oats 22.97,27.29,24.21,25.53
after: raw beaver cut: 16.01,45.64,24.34,14.02 and ear of oats 22.11,27.29,23.31,27.29
It seems that 3 hours may be a safe amount of time to run the cooker in the stove.
It looks like we can adjust the purity of some seeds this way if we run pre-milled plants through it.
I'm curious to know what items change values in the cooker and which do not and how much (if at all) the purity of the pressure cooker comes into play.

I'm sure that any item that has alchemical values can be affected by the cooker provided it has 1 or two elements higher than the other two, and as Jorb has stated item's don't affect each other within a cooker, it's every single item's highest two alchemical values that come into play, with the second highest going up towards the highest at the expense of the two lowest alchemical values.
I believe Loftar also stated that the purity of the pressure cooker speeds up the process. I am however not sure if it depends on specific elements or just the purity/multiplier. I'm going to assume it's just the multiplier.
Curious about how long it takes for stuff to advance through the various stages of instability though. I have one pot in the stove with two pieces of lime in, and last i checked at around 3-4 hours after putting in the first piece, the second having been put in some 20-30 minutes later, one was at "Slightly unstable" and the second was at "A bit unstable". So I'm going to assume that Slight is the first step, a bit the second, will edit later with some other stages before i chicken out and take the lime out of the pot

Edit: My cooker has a 1.07 multiplier and seems to be shifting the secondary element up 1 unit once every hour or so, perhaps a bit more. Judging by your results I'm tempted to say that's more or less the base speed at which it advances.

Alright, so my pot just ticked its third tick. Again a +1 increment in the first piece of lime, and it got upgraded to "Somewhat chymically unstable" while the second piece, which was less unstable got destroyed on the 3rd tick.

*closes eyes, puts fingers in ears and waits*
Next step is "clearly chymically unstable", and it turned my seeds into funny foam

I'm confused about how you managed to get seeds in there in the first place. I've not been able to put in pumpkin seeds, at least not in numbers ranging from 1-15. Haven't tried with a full stack though.

sorry was ear of cereals...was keeping for seeds..my doh
(edit.. progression may not be linear, made four pots after first and loaded all at same time, and now vary in how unstable they are.. maybe a luck factor?)

Left 3 of the pots overnight and came back to find 2 of them are gone. The last one has no changes whatsoever except that the brick and salt inside had chemical imbalances.
Popped in another 3 let's see how they do...

I think you're right ysbryd, in that the items in the pot advance a bit randomly through stability stages. Caught two items put into a pot at the same time, after the second tick. One was slightly unstable the other was clearly unstable.

My 1.23 cooker ticks in 55 mins.
Destroyed clay piece. Did nothing to my (X,Y,0,0) high purity hay. So the picture with wicker man looks like a joke.

Latest stats
after 5hrs in 2% pure pot
clay
16.94/14.58/26.37/40.11 x1.50 5% pure has become
14.78/12.74/32.37/40.11 x1.65 7% pure
It is somewhat chymically imbalanced but others that went in at same time became clearly imbalanced, so seems to be random advance.
Have to make RL food now, but will leave it in to destruction
