simple question, but I couldn't find anything on that subject:

are there any known caps on humours or skills? or is can they be raised as long as you have enough food/inspirationals?

There does not appear to be any hard cap on stats or skills, although the recent purity changes have made getting to 500+ humors a much different experience.

There is a hard cap on how far you can increase everything, but it's not a fixed number. The number is imposed by how pure you can make everything. Eventually, you'll get so high that you just can't breach the next level. Nobody has found that ceiling, though. Add to that everything has diminishing returns, and you quickly find yourself giving up and just making another alt.

The realistic ceiling comes far before the theoretical ceiling. Realistic being the point where you say "***** it, it's not worth 30 pies for a 5% chance at a stat" and stop grinding.

So yeah, Magic's spot on.
