Is there a dismantle ability?

Postby XelNigma » Sat Apr 06, 2013 1:14 pm

I want to extend my fence a bit, but destroying just one square is going to take alot of time and lots of food.
I figured seeing as the fence is on my claimed land I would either have a bonus in destroying it or better yet beable to dismantle it and maybe get some resources back in the process.

Through the forums and videos iv learned of several commands that are not apparent from the start. Such as dig till flat, being able to rotate objects when you place them, or ctrl clicking on the map to move to name a few.
So im really hoping there is some kind of 'hidden' command I can do with destroy that changes it to more of a dismantle.

Thats a shame, and kind odd. so far the game seem to strive to be very realistic. Not many games go as far as using the ol' fire setting technique for example.
I'll just assume its done this way for either a technical reason or for balance's sake.

On a related note, any tips for quickly destroying wooden fences for a guy with just ~20 biles?

Get more phlegm. Also, some of the features you mentioned can be found in Ender's client.

A breaking a split-rail fence with just 20 phlegm? Ain't gonna happen. It goes annoyingly slow even at 60.
