Hi,

i play Salem since 5 days and have now any questions to gamemechanics.

When i clear an tree in wood, will this tree grow back or what is to do?
It is possible to increase my HP or the other three bars? 5 points are realy to little :)
What mean "difficulty" on clothes?
I learnd Selfe-Defense and Backalley Pugilism to can kill crickets to collect some silver, but it was not possible to kill one of them. Is there a trick how that works? :)
You have to walk long ways to collect some items, but your pocket are realy small. Exist an better methode to collect items and explore the map, with an mule or what ever?

Trees do not grow back. Eventually you will be able to get a skill to allow you to grow tree sprouts and plant them to grow big and strong.

Yes you can increase your four bars. It is called gluttony. There are guides to it and info on the wiki page as well. http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Gluttony

Clothes, again use the wiki and guides.

The reason you are having a hard time killing a cricket is because you need to raise you humours (the 4 bars). See 2nd sentence.

There is a backpack you can equip to give you 8 more spaces to carry items. There are sleds for pulling liftable items. Later I'm sure we will see modes of transporting more items like wagons, etc.

These are links to some guides and good information for you to check out: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=92

Crickets are surprisingly hard to kill. They jump around randomly and all of your attacks have a delay. The only way to hit them is either to make them chase you, or to Stomp them.

you can't really stomp them, or at least I can't. Stomp puts my leg up in the air and I sway around but when my leg comes down the cricket is already gone.

Have run turned on, rush right into it and stomp, never fails :)

Get them close to a cliff, make sure you don't agro more than one, ensure your biles/blood bars are at 10+, get a sabre, fastmoves, and fencing skills, slot your clothes with arrow heads to improve your damage; Stomp, Thrust with sabre and cricket is dead. I'm now able to craft very high inspirationals and food to gluttony - Bear owned me though, but soon I will try beaver and deer. (Beware rabbits they sometimes transform into frankenstein rabbits).

So, i have tested gluttony system and have now any more points :) Over difficulty stat in cloth i dont found something. I found skill forestry, this will allow to plant trees. Will old logs come back if i chopt it? If i found an left farm it is possible to create an new claim with Writ of Homesteading to own placed houses?

You can take over any house with no claim on it. Be careful though. The previous owner might return.

The clothing difficulty has to do with adding items to the slots on the clothing.
