I can rotate hollow logs how do I rotate buildings? When i pick up a log I can drag the image and click to set it down exactly where i want it. Houses and things on the other hand seem to randomly rotate depending on if theres a bump in the ground or not and I can't figure out which button controls the rotation. How do you position things the way you want?

everything rotates so that it's facing you when you put it down.
when you have the ghost (while putting the item down), scroll your mousewheel while pressing shift. This will lock it to the grid, both for translation & rotation.
If you want to move off-grid, press ctrl while rotating/moving the mouse

I thought it was Shift+Mouse Wheel? Also, everything snaps to the grid by default. To release it from the grid hold the Control key while moving it.

oh yeah ... changed it in my post as well. Pressing shift is unconscious by now :p
