If you find that you drop out when logging in, then it says you are already logged in.
Simply log into these forums and change your password, after a few minutes the client will be automatically logged out, then you will be able to log back in.

Good tip. But first you should look in task manager and kill any hung java processes. This is usually the cause.

I don't think I remember a case where 'you are already logged in' wasn't solved by killing a headless java process.

I had this happen when Jamestown crashed over the weekend while I was logged in. But yea, the headless java process is usually the cause. Still this is a great tip for the other cases!
