Cannot plant seeds

Haven't found any case of this being reported so here it goes:
I bought some 100% seeds and can't plant them. My upkeep and amount of seeds are right and I added the initial humus but I still can't plant the seeds on any of the 3 fields I planned for them. I can plant them on some other fields. The only difference seems so be that the fields where I want them have 45+ of the influence I'm boosting and the fields where I can plant them are below 30 on 2 stats.

Influence shouldn't matter. What's the upkeep read? Are you sure you put enough humus on them? Try adding humus till you can't add any more. You can only add enough humus to prep the field. No more can be added until after the field is planted.

Sometimes if upkeep shows 50%, it actually is slightly more, but less than 51%. Like 50,24% for example.
When it is so you will need 1 more seed to sow. With cereals you would need 26 seeds for example, even if only 25 are used.
If you want to avoid it then you have to spam wood chippings as a fertilizer until field accepts them nomore.

Must've been that after several rotations upkeep went slightly above 50% while it kept showing this value. I'll try adding woodchoppings as 3rd instead of 4th fertilizer.
Thanks for the replies

I consistently have a problem like this with cabbage. Even with upkeep at 50% (I spammed woodchips to make sure), it requires 22 seeds to plant 3 fields, but only uses up 21 of them.

It's because base amount of cabbage seeds for planting is 15. 50% of 15 is 7.5
As I stated earlier, you must have at least 8 seeds to begin planting
