Salem

When I am at my account page and click on the "Launch the Client" box, I get the message "Can not find the message file". Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or give me advice on launching the game?

Not sure since i'm not technican or something, but its surely on your side.

Can you download anything else from the web ?

The file you download, normally goes into ''my downloads'' try to give yourself all the permissions

Do you hava java installed?

Also, if you have java installed and the default client wont work you can use Ender's Salem client.

This shouldn't matter as the button is merely a download link. Any file can be downloaded no matter what extra software is or isn't installed on a computer. This is more of a fail of the browser or the operating system itself. A better question would be what kind of security software is running or internet settings are used? I'm thinking something is deliberately blocking the download of the file (salemthegame.com or seatribe.se is considered "untrusted"). If this is the case, then even using a modded client such as Ender's will be an issue because the same software may block any network connections to the same site(s).

Thanks everyone, I'm thinking it's probably a firewall issue. I'll have to check that and give clearance for the specific domains mentioned.
