Do skills such as flowers and berries increase the amount of flowers and berries I will see while scavenging, or does it increase the non existing success rate of picking berries ( so its just a skill needed to get other skills?)

there are some skills that gives you better "success" like the butchery skills, that will give you more meat when you butcher animals and horticulture that gives you an extra output from pots.

and then there are the skills wich gives better success in crafting ect. the descriptions on the skills says if they give you better success or what, and if you are in doubt take a look at the wiki and/or as a specific question here.

I think I did ask the question pretty specifically, maybe you try rereading it disco? In the post on top I referred specifically to one skill and its explanation. Ty for your reply jinx.

Flowers and Berries increases the quantity of both of those foregables you find. Hint: Wild Garlic is considered a flower.

I highly recommend getting all of the foraging-related skills ASAP on your first character. It makes a huge difference.

A Berry-bush contains up to 5 berries. The first three can be picked by anyone, the last two require the Flowers and Berries skill to pick.

Berries take either a VERY long time to respawn. If you can't pick anything from a bush, it's likely because somebody beat you to it within the past month.

The various "Foraging improvement" skills increase both the quantity of items you see, and open up new ones to be found. A new player cannot, for example, see Lobster Mushrooms or Witch's Hats.

Good info Hans! I didn't know that. There also seems to be some skill that lets you see Honeysuckle, because I can only see it on my main.
