run away from animals?

I was attacking a rabbit and ran out of yellow bile... i kept running and running but it would never stop following me and trying to attack and thus i just let it k.o. me.... will animals ever stop attacking you? :oops:

they don't unless you use run and put several screens between you and it or swim across a river

or enter a building (works if you are hunting crickets in town)

Clicking the crossed swords icon in the upper-right next to the picture of your foe will turn this into an Olive Branch which will make the animal give up pursuit sooner.

That said, rabbits can be pretty fast when they put their mind to it.

March hares are slow though, so you can disengage by running.
