There is a terrain, near water, which, doesnt match anything in the wiki.
On the map it looks like sand. Its light tan. It is adjacent a Lake, coniferous and badlands. But tightly follows the edge of the lake.
In the world it looks kinda like Sand, but with blue specks in it.
I am unable to dig in it.
Is this actually sand, but I lack some skill to dig it up? Or it was sand, but has been picked clean of any "resource"? Or, is it a different kind of terrain which isnt in the wiki?

I see that kind of sand along lakes in coniferous forests. I think it's just normal sand. I've never tried to dig any kind of sand though.

Some terrain textures have changed recently so they don't all look like what is in the wiki. You're looking at sand.

I think the texture-name for it is actually "Gravel", but I wouldn't swear to it.

there are actually two beach types (I've found no difference between them yet), one yellowy and one grayish.
Only one of them is documented in the wiki, I think.

I thought it was sand and currently not diggable due pending glass crafting implementation.

Just as only one of the two grasslands is, and two of the three kinds of forest.
