Just how much Stocks and Natural do I need for a decent chance?
I have 121 Stocks, and 60 Natural, but still only 3 out of 10 trees sprout. And yes, I did strike the cutlings and plant them myself.

This isn't the final implementation of tree farming. It will either be the "starting point" or an alternative to other methods of planting trees that should be more reliable.

As it is, and from what I've read, you're having about the same luck as any others. I'm not sure if anyone has tracked down a formula yet for a chance to get a growing tree. You may be on the upper end of the curve now and it doesn't get much better or everyone may still be in the middle section and there's some reasonable room for improvement.

Don't forget that you need F&W as well, for striking cutlings.

Never had any trouble getting cuttings... maybe theres something to do with the quality of them? Maybe that is what is nerfing it?

Yeah the checks when you strike don't determine whether you get a cutting. They help determine the chance of a sprout when you plant it.

Can anyone report on their skill levels of FW, NP and SC and their success rate at sprouting tree cuttings? I'd like to get a feel for how much of an investment it's going to take in order to be worth while.

it is stucked, bugged, glitched, unfinished, wait for an update on that

As far as I knew it did not affect sprout % but who knows.

Whoops, I didn't realize there's two FW skills. It's actually Frontier and Wilderness you want, not Faith and Wisdom.
