How to use a copy of key?

I give the copy of key to my friend but it does not work when I use it is work.

It has red name.

You have to make an entirely new copy and associate it with their character

Put the key on your cursor and right click the person you are going to give the key to. It will then 'attune' the key to them, and the name of the key will turn red for you but green for them. Then it will work.
