What happens when a fence outisde your claim gets hit?

Lets say you have a wall around your claim but there is already another wall 3 tiles away from your claim boundary.
If someone were to come and destroy the wall outside your claim in neutral territory, will it cause "free" splash damage to your own wall since it is within range?

yes
if it is on the same tier or higher. (split rail currently damages plank)

And it wont activate your braziers even though the splash is hitting your walls?

Wait what? Destroying a split rail fence will cause plank walls to take splash dmg!? ... But the plank wall is 2 tiers above split rail.

yes, that is a bug that still needs fixing ever since splash was introduced
