Couple of Questions

Couple of random questions here,

I put a Stake down. The one using like 8 stones and 250s Certificate.

I want to move.

I noticed there is a "Declaim" button. If I declaim my Stake, do i get my Certificate back? Or must I buy a new one?
And the Silver i spent expanding the plot. Is that lost or recovered once I declaim?

Second question.

Beavers eat my face.

That is all.

Oops, forgot one more question.

When i mouse over the Red bar on my Stake panel, it says "Upkeep Paid(Hold silver and right click the Claim Stone to add more)"

Do I need to pay an Upkeep?

Ive been squatting here for some time now, and havent paid anything, unless its automatically deducted?

The red bar is about 1/3rd the way filled. When i expand the property, N S E or W, it tallies a cost and pays it, but the red bar remains the same. Is this only for larger properties? When i build a house or something?

If you click declaim, you don't get anything back.

Yes, you need to pay upkeep. The funds from the 'red bar' are deducted depending on how large your claim is. The bigger the claim, the faster the bar will drain. If the bar reaches zero, your claim will no longer protect your stuff from decay and being taken or destroyed by other players.

The cost of upkeep is only based on the number of tiles occupied. Other constructions on it do nothing to change it.
