Which proficiencies have value after skills?

Frontier&Wilderness helps with Fishing.
Hammer&Nail helps with planing boards.
Stocks&Cultivars increases field fertility.
Sparks&Embers increases gun reload speed (I think).

...Do any others have further effects?

I had thought that Hunting&Gathering would increase the number/quality of forageables you can see, but I'm uncertain about this.

Needle&Thread is useful for slotting most artifacts, and a number of other skills also fall under this category for more of them being better.
Natural Philosophy helps with growing cuttings into trees.

But what about the others? Do they DO anything once you've gotten your last skill?
Does Sugar&Spice have any use after you've learned Tasty Pastries?
Faith& Wisdom? Law&Lore? Mines&Mountains? Do these have any lasting value?

I only know about these:

never heard about artifacts and gun reloading, but maybe you're on to something

Ok, that list says Mines and Mountains boosts your climbing ability, but that seems kinda underwhelming. :/

Still better than nothing, though. :)

If you want to slot your own PvP artifacts focus on:

Arts & Crafts
Cloak & Dagger
Thread & Needle
Law & Lore
Perennial Philosophy

Thanks.

I understand (more or less) the value of raising proficiencies for the purposes of Slotting, but are there any bonuses specifically tied to proficiencies like Sugar&Spice?

Not yet. I think they've all been posted now.

The intent (and I may be mistaken here) is that all proficiencies will have some relation to a skill or other activity to improve performance at it at some point.

It's very important when you're climbing really high walls, the falls do a decent damage and if you're going to cross a mountain there's lots of chances for falls... then again to climb higher walls you need to have high M&M to buy the skills, so it's not an option

A rope lets you climb a slightly higher cliff, but it doesn't make it safer.
