Darkness question

I'm not use to with walking hours and hours which I find good and bad at the same time.. (I still think/believe people know a glitch about it to travel-raid faster)

So wiki is still under construction.

1- How long does it takes to reach serious darkness area from town while "wander" is on(argopelter mobs to appear)?

2- What biles do experienced people advice before going darkness? (Don't say as much as possible please :P )

3- Are there any other mobs in there expect the rabbit one?

4- What happens if you enter your house in the deep deep parts of darkness? Does it still drains when you are inside your house?

Offtopic question:
Is there a shortcut like "alt+shift click", to put branches in burners, coals in smelters etc? Its annoying to place them in 1 by 1 :/

1. Directly from "Boston"? I've never tested running the whole way on "wander", but at a normal walk, it can take a few hours. I'm not sure exactly what levels the argopelters can be seen at, though, so this will probably be a bit longer. This was also before the recent changes to the darkness.

2. "As many as you can muster." Seriously. A 200+ bile player was quickly KO'd by these things. (I'm assuming Eegore is 200+ at this point if not 300+. I've not paid close attention to his videos, but it would be reasonable. At a minimum, you're going to want 50-70 at the absolute minimum just to keep from getting KO'd by darkness drain. 100 would be better.

3. What you've seen posted on the wiki is what we have. More will be coming in the future

4. I'll let someone that has lived there answer this. I can only assume that you still take drain as churches are the only thing that removes it.

5. Pick up the branch, and hold shift when you right click what you're trying to fuel.

Related to his question about shortcut for adding fuel, have they ever made a similar shortcut for adding items to a construction sign? For example if we could shift + click to keep adding woodblocks to charcoal pile or something like that?

I entered the darkness at 12 humors and had no drain. From the point where the help message pops up I went 1200 tiles in (12 chunks) and never saw any drain. I also found 4 feathers on the way, not sure if that was just a coincidence or not.

How can I tell that I've entered the darkness? The screen didn't get any darker that I could tell.

Also, the point at which the help message popped up is about a 3 hour walk from Jamestown, although your time will vary based on terrain.

North and south darkness can be gentle at draining humours, I've found the south end of the map (invisible wall), and at that point had 0.9 drain per tick. Still, I was far west from Boston (like 90 away).

Shift + mousewheel tip = awesome!!!

Anyway I too am having slot of trouble determining if I really am in darkness or not. Where does it start where does it end. The drain where I am happens so slowly it's difficult to figure out where the border is. Wish the client had a mode to overlay the tiles with color like it does for town or private claim tiles.

One method I think may work is I notice that when there is any drain you can never be at full bikes. If I eat something that would normally heal me to 100% say for example blood to value of 10.0 if I am in darkness it will never show 10.0/10.0 but instead 9.9/10.0.
