Hello guys. I have some friends that want to play Salem with me in the same "home" as me. I'd like to know what's the best way for us to meet up and set our "spawns" in the same place. Tahnks in advance!

Set a homestead secret. Give your friends the homestead secret.

After your friends create their characters and get to the wilderness guide, have them enter your HS in the box. Then (and this part is important) they must hit ENTER. A new button shows up asking them to use complimentary guidance. Have them click that, and they will be teleported to your land, and a leanto will be created for them there.

The person with the home MUST have a claim set up and designated as the homestead. This will not work otherwise.

There really is a flaw in this game like that though, a group of people cannot not just dive into the game and expect to be able to play with each other, atleast one of them needs to spend about a days grind (I dunno maybe less) to get the skills and silver needed for a claim, and a bit more so there is actually room for the leantos, unless everyone is cool with walking for a few hours.

Walking a few hours is really the best way to go though, whether you are in a group or alone. The wilderness porter only sends you about 30 minutes away which is way too close to Boston anyway.

There is no flaw to this game, as someone has mentioned, but really straight forward....if one wants instant gratification, this isnt the game for you. And Magic adds to it correctly by ensuring you know that you must place a stone as your homestead for your friends to port to....this game is all about adventuring and wandering often, so even if another friend has found a better location, have him place a leanto, then everyone port to boston, contribute your silver for an initial stone. . .it's really not that hard, but not necessarily intuitive.
