Prospecting in forest

Do the metal node graphics show up on forest floors? I think I remember older beta the forest floor overlapped on top of the metal node graphic so it was almost impossible to see.

anyone have a screen shot of metal node on forest floor?

btw you still dont really have to follow the arrows right? you can just wander around and stumble upon the nodes just as easily cant you?

yeah, just stumbling on them works.
As far as visibility: I live in a conifer forest, and my mine was perfectly visible there. In any case, it's easier to rely on ender's radar to not miss the mines.

put this in your "User/Salem/radar.xml"

mines will show in the minimap as a black shape (Ender's client only)
