Character not available on different computer login

I was wondering why the character I created on another computer is not available to play with after signing into the account on a different computer. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this normal? The character is still there when I sign onto my desktop PC at home, but whenever I try to access the character from my laptop (after signing into my account) the character does not populate and the game asks me to create a new character. Any help/feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I know this might seem a bit odd, but make sure you're using the same login. If you have the login credentials set to be saved, clear it and try to manually log in. There's no reason for this to be happening if you are using the same account as this is an MMO and all character and game data is saved server-side.
