What damage values are you guys seeing from ranged weapons?

Postby Darkside » Thu Mar 07, 2013 9:00 pm

Would really be grateful for some input on what you are seeing from the new ranged combat

For example I am doing pretty consistent 0.5 dmg per shot from my slingshot at 14 YBILE.

Saw someone mentiond 0.6 dmg w/ 25 YBILE

You?

What about the guns?

shot a deer for 10 damage with a gun. unsure if it is yb based or not, would make sense if it weren't

Slotted items can increase dmg.

Only common combat power effects it so far.

Yellow bile seems to be only one of the factors. After losing about half my YB I saw only about 10% decrease in damage output.

yellow bile is what affects damage, no idea why so many retards are insisting it doesn't

on a character with 310 yellow bile and 25 sparks i shot for 24 damage

raising sparks to 30 was still 24 damage.

raising yellow to 316 was 24.3 damage.

all in all nice enough damage to be useful and load times are long enough to not seem to be OP, i would change that you can not unequip your musket until you fire it however, that pretty much ***** anyone trying to use one in pvp if he is unable to stay at range. should just make it so it automatically kills the load in it upon unequipping if you want to prevent people running around with a dozen loaded muskets, although i dont really see a problem with that anyway since that someone would be risking 4k of muskets and **** on his inventory space
