How does one sell items in the town?

Contact the person to trade, meet in the capital town, one of you put their trade items in a barrel, and the other puts their trade items and both sides take whatever stuff they're supposed to. There is no trade mechanic, just barrels.

Watch out for scammers, only contact people with threads in the trading forum, they're the least likely scammers.

There are stalls for players, those are all the blue topped stalls that sell various items, however, there are never any empty ones to use (plus they are pretty pricey), so refer to ass_kraken's post on how to sell.

The in-game runs with real life time. If 24 hours pasted in your life, they did in the game as well.

I think he's asking about an in-game night. There is not night in Salem, only the darkness that gets deeper the further you go from the main town.
