stacking walls still worth it?

has anyone played with the splash numbers already to know if it's better to have one plank fence or maybe stack some different types of wall?

just make sure each subsequent outer wall is weaker, so plank -> stone -> split-rail.... then have an open space and do it again.... I'm not sure if its possible for the splash to jump an open tile, I haven't seen any sign that it is. If you dont plan on moving you might also consider leaving an extra space for when the next most defensive wall gets implemented. The splash generally takes the next wall down to ~20% health if its not a stronger wall, so a stone -> split-rail will be a lot better defensive wise than a stone -> stone from my experience.

Multiple walls are still better then one wall, since the splash damage is around 70 - 95% of the other wall, 1 tile away from the wall is enough to stop the splash damage, if you still want to stack several walls you should do wooden fence -> stone wall -> plank fence
