What do you do with all your dross?

I had been using my Dross for high-purity Rock Maracas, but they don't seem to be accepting Dross as an ingredient any more since the last update.

I've also used my dross for Filet on the Rocks, which given that it's 2/3 rock results in a good amount of purity being maintained. Haven't checked if I can still use Dross for that, since I'm out of fish.

I've thought about using Dross on my fields for a speed bonus, but the plenty penalty makes me leery of doing that.

With 20+ dross produced with each smelter operation you have access to an abundant source of rocks with a purity bonus, but it's SO abundant I find myself just dumping most of the dross, keeping only the higher purity stuff from lime-free batches and storing it in construction signs. However, I now have over 100 units of 13% purity dross in storage, and I feel bad throwing it away. Is there something productive I can use my dross for that I haven't thought of?

Create an alt to wander around and chip granite rocks, use that dross to throw another stone wall up somewhere.

Ok, it seems that the in ability to use them for Rock Maracas was a fluke.

I just thought of another use: the rock component of Timber Piles! I wonder if the purity of dried boards affects anything.

use dross for stone requirements. or make rock maca's is the best use do to the purity it gains from dross. other then that dross effects nothing unless its used for farming (which is kinda stupid imo)

When you're purity grinding cabbage, dross can be quite useful, since it'll make the cabbage grow faster and you're not left with all that cabbage if you plant a lot of fields.

Ehm? Something changed? This was so may be 6 months ago I thought. Dross should not affect farming now as far as I know....

It doesn't, and hasn't since a little while after Plymouth opened.

dross gives 10points of speed and subtracts 10points of plenty (going by the wiki)

though coal if you have surplus is better for farming. do to the 25point speed and 0 negatives.

Ahh, in that sence faster... Sorry, coal completly covers this.

Dross is for pavement, walls and a lot of windmills ofc! 8-)
