Its not letting me buy exploration and as far as I can tell I have all the requirements. Can anyone tell me why its not letting me? thanks

You need to eat to refill your black bile bar. Studying items consumes black bile and when you run out the studying pauses. Did you notice the pale grey and the blue bar loading through the pale grey? The pale grey is how much you will study if you have the required black bile and the blue is how much you already have.
