Is the Darkness all around the map?

Hello,

I was wondering if the Darkness is north, west and also south? I've only been in the north on Plymouth, so I can't really tell if it's also on the other map ends.
Hopefully you can answer my question!

Yes.

yes all colonies extend from the east coast.

Unless it's changed, Jamestown and Roanoke aren't as large north/south, and you may not reach darkness going those directions. (I've not heard reports since the recent update to the darkness, but haven't heard that those maps were extended out, either.)
