Teleporting to your friend

So I´ve been playing for a month or so, and finally me and my friend can teleport to each other cause he bought a claimstone or something. Now he goes and tells me his password, but accidently puts a space in the sentance. So when I attempt to go to him I´m sent somewhere completely random. Now I´ve lost my own place and I cant talk to wilderness guides anymore after one failed attempt. Any ideas ?

Are you in main town now?
Do you have a leanto of your own? Or a claim stake?
Im not sure how the free teleporting system is right now, but I think you get 3 free ones nowadays.
If you cant get any free rides, you have to walk to your friend.
Join his group and use the arrow that appears after you join his party. (Arrows arent very reliable, but usually they work.)

You will have to walk or make a new toon. When you put the pass phrase in and hit enter it will turn into a new button "use complimentary service" if the phrase is wrong or the person doesnt have a claim the button wont take you anywhere and will show a error like "person not settled".

If you click top button you are taken to random spot and lose anything you previously had.

Your options are now walk to him or make a new guy.

I had problems getting my GF toon to me how figured out only took 2 tries and myself losing a weeks worth of progress on homesite



I think it is unclear that when you put the pass phrase in you have to hit enter to get the corrext button to push, not to push the button that is there to begin with.

Just party up with your firend. His name will appear in the upper left of the screen. Then rightclick him and select "follow". This is how you get the general direction you have to walk to. The arrows are completely useless so ignore them.

If you have ender client you can drag the minimap to really huge size and zoom out to the max from time to time. You will see your friend as a red dot when you're near (about 20 minutes walk when the map covers your full screen).

First off your friend needs to have a claim stone, a leanto is not enough.
Then i think the problem is alot of players press wrong buttons so i put together this picture to make it easier.

Yup, I've lost count of how many times people have clicked the wrong button and ended up in a random place far from where they wanted to be.

I imagine this is going to get a rework since party spawning isn't even in the game as of yet.
