Plant Fibre

Postby Dad00 » Tue Feb 05, 2013 12:10 pm

I am trying to make Plant Fibre but am having difficulty. I figured out how to make the Charred Milkweed Fibre in a fireplace. But the instructions then tell you; "Using a bucket of water on the charred fibre will create the Milkweed Jute". Could someone please explain to me and the gaming community the exact process of using a bucket of water on the charred fibre?

I believe you have to right click the Charred Milkweed Fibre on the body of water - shallow [?] river/shore.

Left click bucket with water, right click Charred Milkweed Fibre. Uses up 1L.

Actually, both methods mentioned above work. Using bucket on the fibre seems to be more comfortable though.

I always right click a bucket of water on the charred fiber, myself. Less chance of accidentally left clicking the fiber on the river and dropping it for instant loss.

How long do you have to let the milkweed roots sit in the fireplace before they become charred? This is what I am stuck at.

They wont start until coals are made and it takes at least 2 sticks in the fire worth of time

that is not true, since an update changed it that things cooking in fireplaces now also cook while the fireplace still has fuel.
Thus: toss some milkweed in there, fill with branches, light & wait :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Did they change it yesterday? Since 2 days ago they still were not cooking unless there was coals.
