Okay so i really dont get how this works. Ive given someone my homestead secret and we need him to teleport to me, but hes already used his free teleport to get to his homestead which hes not demolished.... so how does he get to mine?

He gotta make another character or walk to ur homestead

I don't care about paying the silver. Theres just no box to put in the players Hearthsecret. That's not abusable.

You also need to have the skill Settling along with a claim staked out for someone to use that feature.

So if I had, for instanced declaimed an area because I intended on moving, then I wouldn't be able to port to them? But if I did have a claim up, I could port to them..?

Let me clarify (sorry for the confusing post before). For someone to use the free port to a friend, the person they are traveling to needs to have the claim placed. Example: My friend Bob just started playing. I've only been playing for a day or so. He wants to join me, but I've already picked some random area to settle in. However, I haven't yet put up a claim. Bob will have to wait to join me with his free trip or walk if he doesn't want to wait.

You don't need to declaim btw Flameturtle, you can have multiple claims but only one can be set as your homestead.
