What happened?! Hacked?! "loSexD2"

I logged on today to play and discovered my base was robbed. I have stone walls (not breached), a locked gate (not breached) and a paid claim. No scents were left! I happen to look at my buddies list and see some guy that i don't know set as kin with rights to my claim! His name was loSexD2. I NEVER ADDED THIS PERSON!!! What happened and how is this possible?! I had to have been hacked or something because i NEVER added this person. and why are there no scents or anything?

How long didn't you play before logging on today? Any scents that were left could have dissipated already. As for your gate being unbreached, the raider could just have rebuilt it. Did you try opening your gate without a key on your chain?

Just a matter of hours... i got off last night about 9 pm and got on today around 5:30 EST. the gate is fine. I can't open without the key. So how did this person add himself to my kin and set permissions for himself? I think he did it. also how long do scents last anyways?

I think you got ***** over by a friend or otherwise. That is the only way there would be no scents.

I realize that. I have only 4 "kin". one is my husband. other 3 dont have persmissions to trespass, steal, etc. and the others dont know where i live! Only I have the key to the gate also. There is only 1 gate. I NEVER heard of or added the guy mentioned above. When i logged out yesterday he was not a kin. i log on today and he is not only a kin, but has all permissions set. even if we knew each other, i am the only one with a key!! how did he get in through stone walls?

You added any recent player mods to your computer?

We all know enders is pretty safe, but recently a higher amount of mods from players has been added, and i am unsure how secure all these are, or how safe the websites they used are were you download from.

i have just the Salem game sent from beta signup. no mods at all.

Do you have a claim with permissions set to allow theft on white (default kin color)? Someone could have spawned at your claim, looted, and then ported things back to town to transfer this way.
