It's me the farming guy again.
I heard somewhere from the forum, that some people use some dross as fertilizer to boost their crops alchemical status, IE, use high mercury dross to get high mercury crops, is this actually the case? Or is it just superstition? Does fertilizers alchemical value affect crops alchemical value? Can someone please gimme some insight on this?
Highly appreciated by the farming guy.

New question, on wiki, they made the fertilizer pag look as if they can only be used 10 times, because values after 10 are not given however, in reality, u can use fertilizer more than 10 times?

They used to, but it was changed about a month after Plymouth opened. Fertilizer purity has no effect on crop purity anymore.

Yep, you cant change purity with fertilizing any more (this is actualy a good thing). You can put as much fertilizer as you like but it will be less and less efficient with every aditional use.

So wait a second I dont need to increase the purity of my fertilizers to increase the purity of the crops? Or are you saying the alchemical values have no effect? If this is the case increasing purity is dont only through time and correct seed selection?

Purity is based on alchemical values so Im saying both.
Yes, in time correct seed selection will get you where you want to go. This also mean you can use any fertilizer without fear of lowering crop purity
But when it comes to potted plants alchemical values of humus are important.

does this also apply to the prefield planting of the hummus? Does it also have no effect on purity?

Yes the only thing that has an affect on purity is the seeds themself.
