Raising Biles, always neck and neck??

I just wanted to make a quick post about raising biles. Everyone always says to raise them all together, however, I do not think this is always neccessary. If u plan on being nothing but a farmer, with no intentions of fighting, raising only your bb and flem can be a much easier task. With how easy it is to lose a character, specializing your toons is a viable way to advance more quickly in thier respective areas. Also, if u are unfortunate enough to be murdered, you are losin less this way...

Or perhaps if by any chance your farmer gets attacked and you do have that yellow bile, you actually might be able to save your char, rather than minimizing your loss upon death.

Once you are set up, its not a big deal if you spike your biles. You can fix them whenever you want. Depends on how high purity of foods you cook, and if you know what you are supposed to be eating/growing.

Well, you can't move with such specialised character into darkness, as it would perish due to humour drain

True. Do not misunderstand me, I am not saying that you could go the long haul in this game with a character who is rocking low health and ybile. However, if you are like me, and have many operations going on, you may want to use this method. I have a character who I am carefully raising the biles of, but also characters who serve a specific purpose. For these, I had no intentions of dealing with the pain of raising all biles together, instead deciding to jack up only 2 that were particularly relevant to their focus.

If you're making chars specifically for mining or getting lime, I don't see any problem in having unbalanced biles as long as you're in the light.

I usually just raise each one in increments of 20, seems like a decent amount without spiking much.

It all depends on what kind of infrastructure you have available, I think. I've always tried to keep biles within 5 points of each other, so I'd waste less food.
