So im new to this game and i got a basic leanto set up, but how do I keep track of where it is? Is there a way for me to set a minimap bookmark or something?

You should always remind the location. In example make a few thoughts of the map around you.
If u ever get lost in the woods again, you can clean up your inventory and teleport to homestead then.

Nope, you cant bookmark it on the map. What you could do is explore gradually and keep your eye on the minimap to see which direction your going. look at ur minimap, top is always north, remember surroundings, folow rivers and edges of different biomes for easy way back. I used this when i started playing coz it was super confusing to navigate in this game lol

It also helps to put your homestead or leanto in an easily recognizable spot, like the border between two biomes or next to a slash or river.
