Salem

I Searched and have been unable to find any information on this. Are mines in Salem similar to mines in Haven in that they are all on one Z level?

IE can I connect two mines if I mine out the area between them? Or is each mine it's own instance?

No you can't. Each mine is its own instance, same as entering any building.

Except that you can really dig out mine to be something huge, hint: storing dead animals in there is a sure way to stop them from decaying.
